And not only did we get to rub shoulders with the stars, but Stuart also gave us a nice write-up in his Off the Bat newspaper column in the Sunday Herald Sun and the Sunday Telegraph:

Sometimes it's easy to become completely oblivious to the world around you while you're working. And I've turned into a bit of a bubble boy while filming my TV show - mostly due to a fear of making a public fool of myself and my inability to think about several things at once.
Thankfully, the stars of the show, the winemakers, are usually able to burst my bubble by plying me with smaller bubbles and reminding me that, by comparison, my life isn't so complicated after all.

There's always something going on at a winery. How they manage to juggle work, family and friends so effortlessly is beyond me. I was reminded of this the other day, when I met Donna Stephens, winemaker at Kirrihill in the Clare Valley. Not only did she meet us on a Sunday, her day off, but she had her kids in tow, quietly drawing at a nearby table.

The balancing act at Kirrihill doesn't stop with Donna. The wines in its Companions range are blends of varieties from two SA regions. My favourite is the Riesling Pinot Gris ($15), which has the crisp, acid structure typical of the Clare Valley and the fuller finish of the Adelaide Hills.
Unfortunately, there's no truth to the rumour that drinking it makes you a better juggler.
